I took these pictures in 1988 on the big island of Hawaii.
We were on a training mission to Pohacaloa Training Area and we happened upon an old memorial site. If I remember right, it was a helicopter crash that happened back in the late 1970's sometime, killing all aboard.
As time goes by, the memory fades and names go away. Here's to not just remembering, but honoring those who've fallen in the service of our country.

AMEN! Thanks to all the men and women who have served our country! It makes my heart sad to see what we have become as a nation, but I am still grateful and think that all those who have and will fight for our country should be honored!
