It's been too long since I've blogged.
It's been WAY too long since I've written poetry.
No better time than the present, I guess.
This is a work in progress, as yet untitled:
I wish to do great things
Accomplish what I dare
Stirring songs to sing
Great anthems to share
The cowardice within
My emboldened heart shatters
If I can but win
Self to greater matters
I wish to inspire souls
And wither temptations
While I perspire cold
Drowning imagination
One can see me through
The streaming dark night
Dare I but listen
I'll lift by His might
